Rick Linzy - Lead Vocals

Rick has one of the smoothest and yet powerful voices you will ever hear. Rick, a veteran of many popular vocal groups now takes on his new role as Front Man for Soul Mine. Rick can flat out sing.

Experience: Lead Singer with Sammy Nominated R&B group UAD, Sammy Award winning gospel group The Joseph Perry Choral Ensemble. Rick has also been in theatrical productions ranging from Marvin Gaye in (What’s Going On) and the Tin Man in the Broadway version of the musical The Wiz.

Influences: Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Jeffery Osborne, David Clayton-Thomas, and Nat King Cole.

Vynce Watson - Bass

Vynce Watson , the groups founder, simply is a monster on the bass. Tiring of being been a side man in many of the top regional bands for years, Vynce hand selected the members of Soul Mine.

Experience:Vynce has played with hundreds of local, regional, and national bands. Some notable acts are: Ronnie Lee, Larry Arlotta, Cabo Frio, Black Lites, Dave Hanlon and Rocco Barbato.

Fred Shatell - Keyboards

Fred joined Soul Mine on March 17, 2007. Fred brings over 20 years of experience plus a new edge.

Dave Hurwitz - Guitar

Dave is one of the area’s most electrifying guitarists. Equally adept at providing the tasteful ching-a-ching and crushing lead guitar solos, Dave provides band with its distinctive edge. Dave also runs Bus Stop Studios, the producer of our demo CD

Tony Costello - Drums

 

Tony is an incredibly accomplished drummers. As a 1983 Graduate from renowned Berklee College, Tony is versatile and experienced in many gendres Tony brings an exciting mixture of technical excellence while maintaining a rock-solid funky foundation.

Experience: Marcia Hagan & Fluidrive, Harvey Fonda & Fluidrive, Red Light District, Mark Werchowski, The Bob Lee Trio, The Critics, and Tom Thumb as well as countess jazz combos.

Scott Remillard - Sax


 


Scott, over the past several years, is becoming one of the areas most respected horn players. His jazz roots coupled with hard blowing funk gives Scott a distinctive sound.
